Our Story

Jeremy and I found out we were pregnant in the April 2025. As excited first-time parents, we told our family and friends at 13 weeks, celebrating the little life that had already changed everything for us. The first trimester was smooth sailing, and our hearts were full of hope and joy for our January 2026 due date.

In August 2025, at 21 weeks, our world shifted when our daughter, Nora, was stillborn. Though her time with us was brief, her life is forever a part of ours. It’s Jeremy, Nora, and me—our family—woven into this story.

She is named after her great-grandmothers, Eleanor and Norma. Our hearts have been forever changed with the most instant and pure love, and they broke as we held her knowing she wasn’t coming back. When she left, she took a little piece of each of us with her, which she will have forever.

Out of that love and loss came Nora’s Light. It began as our way of honoring her and carrying her memory forward, but it has grown into a community for every parent walking through stillbirth, miscarriage, or infant loss. Nora’s Light is not a typical space—it is a place to honor every baby, give grief a voice, and remind parents that they are not alone.

Nora’s Light Journal

≠ pregnancy journal

≠ bereavement journal

It’s its own category.
